School Uniform

SCHOOL UNIFORM

 

An important part of the ethos of the school is that all children come suitably dressed for the day, as they will in their adult careers.

 

FOR YOUR INFORMATION – CORRECT SCHOOL UNIFORM

 

WINTER

 

  • WHITE                                 -           polo shirt / shirt/ blouse
  • GREY                                    -          trousers / skirt/ pinafore
  • NAVY BLUE                        -           sweatshirt (plain or school sweatshirt) cardigan or jumper

 

School sweatshirts/cardigans are available to purchase from our uniform supplier Tots to Teams:

  • BLACK                     -           sensible shoes
  • GREY OR WHITE  -           socks

 

SUMMER

As winter with the following additions:

 

  • BLUE                         -          checked dress
  • GREY                        -           short trousers
 

SCHOOL P.E. UNIFORM

  • WHITE  -  polo shirt
  • NAVY  -  shorts
  • WHITE  -  socks
  • PLAIN BLACK  -  trainers for outdoor use
  • BLACK  -  plimsolls or sandshoes for indoor use

 

P.E. UNIFORM OPTIONAL

  • NAVY BLUE  -  tracksuit (for outdoor use)
  • Football boots

 

P.E. kit should be worn to school on your child's particular P.E. days. These were shared with parents / carers at the Back to School meetings in September.

 

JEWELLERY

 

The wearing of jewellery by children in school is discouraged.  For reasons of safety, jewellery should definitely not be worn for P.E. lessons.

 

The governors and staff will not accept responsibility for any accidents or losses resulting from the wearing of jewellery at school.

 

In response to recent parent enquiries:

Please note the following guidelines   - x not allowed.

 

X         trousers should be grey (black trousers are not part of our school uniform)

X         shoes should be plain black with no coloured marking above the soles.

 

This applies to P.E. trainers also.  White shoes are not part of school uniform.

 

X         leggings and baggy harem trousers are leisure wear and are not acceptable school

uniform

X         flip flops or open sandals are not school uniform and are not safe playground

footwear.

 

Please ensure that your child wears safe, sensible black footwear.
