PE Days

Please bring in PE kits every Monday and we will send them home again on Friday.

Tuesday - Outdoor PE

Friday - Gymnastics

We learnt lots about dinosaurs last half term and enjoyed telling our grown ups all about it in assembly.

During our dinosaur topic we...........

*Found a dinosaur egg and helped it hatch.

*Dug for dinosaur bones likes a paleontologist.

*Made dinosaur pictures out of collage materials, paint and straws.

*Made clay dinosaur models.

*Wrote facts about dinosaurs.

*Read lots of dinosaur stories.

*Went on a bone hunt.

*Created a dinosaur cafe role play area.

*Measured the real life size of dinosaurs.

*Ordered dinosaurs by size.

We have also been doing lots of writing practice, remembering to put capital letters, finger spaces and full stops in our sentences. In Maths we have been learning to add and subtract using the numbers to 20.

We have been really enjoying climbing and using the water in outdoor learning! This is why we sometimes come home soaking wet haha!

We went on a treasure hunt! We had to follow the clues to find the chocolate treasure! It was yummy!

We have been learning to throw and catch, hula hoop, skip and use the outdoor gym equipment in PE.

Every Friday afternoon we have Golden Time!

Your teacher will very soon be filling this page with exciting class news, pictures of things we’ve done and more.
