Hello! This is our School Council page. On here you will be able to find out what the School Council have been up to this year.
We are the Amberley school councillors, led by Miss Lewis, who act as representatives of our classmates in discussing school issues with the headteacher, Mr Rigg, and staff. We meet two times over the term where we discuss any projects or any concerns from our classmates. We then report back to our class teachers and class with recent developments.
During the first Autumn term, we were asked by North Tyneside catering services to fill in a survey about our lunches with our classes. Our results were given to catering services and our suggestions are going to be considered! We have a catch up meeting with Carol (our Amberley cook) to see how our suggestions are going to me used! We have been invited to the remembrance service at the White Swan Centre to pay our respects, this is something we are very proud to do.
We have asked our classes with suggestions around playtimes and lunchtimes, which we will be going to take three ideas to Mr Rigg in the Autumn term.
We have had two meetings this term and we have two meetings planned every term and one extra meeting alongside the Eco-Warriors to see how we can come together as a school community to make us better!
Watch this space!
We will keep adding information and pictures throughout the year.
Thank you
